2026 Spring League

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026 SPRING LEAGUE IS NOW AVAIBALBE

Registration Ends at 11:00pm on Thursday, March 19, 2026
- All late registrations and payments will have a $35 late fee (per player) applied

Leagues: Youth (3-17 years old)
- ALL Birth Years and Age Categories listed below


ALL Skill Welcome: Players of all skill levels, beginner to advanced are all welcome, our teams are designed to have players of all different skills on each.

Divisions: There are typically two divisions per age category
A Division - Players with previous ball hockey league experience and/or players with ice hockey experience.
B Division - Players with no ice hockey experience and zero to minimal ice ball hockey league experience

Combined Divisions - In the event that we do not have enough players to make two divisions in an age category, which is common, players of all skill types will be placed on teams within the same division. When doing so, we try and build teams that have players of similar skills and experience levels on each team, while keeping groups of players that have requested to play together.

Registration Types: Register as an Individual or register to play with friends

Season Length: Mid April 2026 - Mid June 2026 (U5 - U15)
16 Sessions = 2 Practices + 14 games: Regular Season and Playoffs

Age Categories

SCHEDULING
The league will do its best to abide by the days of the week below, however, days outside of the set days may have to be used to accommodate odd number of teams in a division or other circumstances. The main overflow day will be Sunday. 

Costs: GST and Jersey Fee ($30) are added to cost during online registration process.

ARENA’S (SPRING) 

• Majority of games at Henk Ruys Soccer Center (Rink names are Rivercity Tech, WinMar, Mark Tenant, Aurora Financial)
• Cosmo Hockey Arena (Spring Season Only)
• Dalmeny Hockey Arena (U11 and older may play 1-2 games/practices here throughout Spring Season)

1. INDIVIDUAL 
Registering as a single Free Agent Player and would like to be placed on a team.
Note: Your team rep or league will contact you (via email) prior to league play.
(please review "Important Info for Online Registration" below)

2. GROUP (2 or more players) - Playing with Friends
This section is for group of players wanting to register and play together on the same team

HOW TO REGISTER - In order to be on the same team: All players must register individually and follow instructions below.

1. Prior to registering choose one person as the group rep, you will use that person's full name during your registration process
 

2. During the online registration process, there is a "Group Representative" box.  Everyone in your group, including the group representative, must put that players full name in the "Group Representative" box. 

This is the only way we can identify players that are wanting to play together
(please review "Important Info for Online Registration" below)

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR GROUP REGISTRATIONS
The goal for our league is to try and create parity within our leagues, whenever possible; Secondly, we want to allow to friends to be able to register and play together. However, If the league feels a group of players (large or small) are to strong for an age category or division, the league will give provide the following options.

- Large group may be asked to remain in age category/division and divide into smaller groups
(example: 9 player group asked to split into 4 and 5 or 3 groups of 3)
- Large or small group may be asked to move into older age category to be able to stay together.

*Please note that we reserve the right to limit group size to create parity among teams 
* If we design teams to start the season and the teams are not balanced, player movement amongst teams may occur.


IMPORTANT INFO FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
A. DO NOT fill in your child’s email, during registration process, it will result in registration not working.
B. Anywhere there is an asterisk symbol (*) you must answer question
C. AT END OF REGISTRATION PROCESS you MUST select a payment option in order to be registered (credit or pay later by E-transfer); If you do not choose an option you will not be registered and have to go through entire process again

STANDARD REFUND POLICY - YOUTH

 Any registration cancelled before the registration deadline will be charged an automatic $50 admin fee.


Cancellation after registration deadline
- $75.00 admin fee + $30.00 (Jersey Fee)

Cancellation after first session
$75.00 admin fee + $30.00 Jersey Fee + $15x # of sessions THE TEAM has played (not the individual)
* The date you have contacted the registrar is the date used to count back the number of sessions

No refunds after the team has had 4 sessions.
